  1. Great Toy
    by Sandy Nickell

My grandaughter is now 6 months old & this is her favorite toy. She has already been fascinated by it & playing with it for at least a couple of months. The variety of parts on the toy make it a best value for your money.

  2. We Love Mortimer!
    by Becky Kolakoski

Mortimer has been one of my son’s favorite toys since he was about 3 months old. He is almost 9 months and his face still lights up when we bring Mortimer along. He is always fascinated by the crinkle, the jingle, and even the noise of the rings clacking together. Mortimer’s antlers and rings are great for teething and the fact that Mortimer squeaks is a plus too. I bought Mortimer for my son on top reviews and I agree 100%, if you only have one favorite toy, give Mortimer a try!

  3. A great variety of textures and feels for your little one
    by Dennis Healy

We renamed Mortimer the Moose to Bruce the Moose shortly after buying him, just because we felt the name fitted him better ;)

We have a couple of the Lamaze toys and Bruce has been the favorite with our son. From a young age, he was intrigued by the different colors, shapes and textures, and the clip means it can travel from the play mat to the car to the stroller.

He’s not a snuggly toy, but Bruce does encourage touch and play from an early age. As a Dad with little toy knowledge until now, Bruce is a must have.

  4. My daughter's favorite car toy!
    by Marie Anderson

This plush, squeaky, crinkly toy is my daughter’s favorite car toy and has been for 5 months! She teethed on it and kisses it and loves to hold it in her lap in the car. It holds up well and is handy to hook onto a bag, stroller, whatever to keep it in tow- a priceless factor in infant/toddler toys! She actually reached for it herself when we shopped at Toys ‘r Us before Christmas and giggled when we let her hold it in the store- won her an early present too! She was 8 1/2 months old then and is now 13 1/2 months old and she still likes this toy. That’s all the review necessary!

  5. 5 Star Mortimer!
    by Ann L. Sullivan

I bought this for my grand daughter when she was 3 months old to entertain her during a cross country holiday flight. It worked like a charm! It still goes with her everywhere whether it be cross country or across the street. She loves every bit of it and at 8 months discovers new ways of playing with it. A grand mothers dream to give a gift that turns out to be the favorite one. She squeals and smiles with it and teethes on it as well. It challenges infants for many developmental issues. This toy has them all. It is bright, cheerful and full of sounds and textures.

I would recommend this to any one. You can’t go wrong! This defines 5 star ratings!

  6. My niece's favorite
    by C. E. Checa

This was my niece’s favorite Lamaze toy. Before she had teeth, she would gum the antlers longer than she would pay attention to ANYTHING else. I used the hooves to show and name her different colors (each hoof bottom is a different color). She also liked sucking on Mortimer’s nose for some reason. I think it’s the ripply, textured fur. Oh, and the two rings on Mortimer’s [...], or I guess his “tails,” are great differently-patterned/textured sorts of rings.

Oh, but don’t stick him in the dryer. His fur pills.

  7. 4 month old grandsons favorite
    by Ileana Vila

My grandson has had this moose for a couple of months now. He enjoyed it tremendously while he could only lay on his back and the Moose hung close by..he then started swatting at it as he learned to coordinate his arms then as he got better it was his favorite toy to grab, then eventually put the legs in his mouth..followed by putting the rings that hang off the Moose’s end into his mouth …we think as teething aids…as well as the plastic antlers. He seems to enjoy them tremendously. all in all, there is something wonderful about Mortimer the Moose.

  8. Our Favorite Toy
    by Smalls 2.0

We already had another Lamaze toy and I got this one because our little man really enjoyed the other toy. The Moose has become one of his favorites and the ring allows us to hang him on the play gym, in the pack-n-play and from the the handle of the car seat. Well made and fun. Also, he squeaks if you squeeze him.
