The arch of this unique mobile is designed like a tree trunk with green leafy branches extending outwards to give each friendly creature its own presence. Each of the three adorable characters – giraffe, monkey and bird – does a special “dance” as it dangles from the tree. Features 20 minutes of continuous musical with four melodic tunes (two classical and two nature) and calming night light. Uses 3 “C” (LR14) 1.5V batteries (not included). Measures 15″ x 14″ x 5″.

Cute mobile with good music
I purchased this mobile for my twin boys because the FP Aquarium mobile didn’t seem to hold their attention, but the mobile in their swing did, so I reasoned that they needed something which moved a bit faster and with more action. I also wanted something with decent music. We have a swing, vibrating seat and the FP mobile and never use anything but the white noise or nature settings because the music is so cloyingly cute or just plain bad.
This mobile has definitely accomplished what I wanted it to do. In fact, I put it together in our living room, popped in batteries and turned it on just to see it move and hear the music, and one of the boys immediately started looking at it and smiling. I ended up attaching it to the back of a heavy barstool so that I can push them under it in their infant seat.
The music is far better than that of any other baby equipment I’ve seen. I listened to a Fisher Price mobile online which also plays classical music and it was horrible – they’d “cuteified” it by having it sound like a tinny music box. The Tiny Love’s music, in contrast, sounds like it’s coming from a very nice piano.
My only complaint is that the music is SO repetitive. Each selection is really only a minute or two long and then it repeats. I’m not sure why they didn’t simply use the entire pieces or choose longer selections. Perhaps it’s a copyright issue? I end up plugging my iPod into the stereo and playing a classical playlist sometimes. Maybe sometime a company will add iPod (or similar) docking ability so that it could play through the mobile’s speakers. Still, it’s a relatively minor quibble and I imagine that if you only use this in the nursery at bedtime, it won’t be an issue for you because you won’t be sitting there listening to it for the full 20 minutes.
works ok, only attaches to wooden cribs
we were disappointed to see that this item would not connect to our portable pack ‘n play. The base only seems to attach to wooden cribs with the vertical bars. Otherwise the baby likes to watch it, so that’s good.
Adorable
I love it, my toddler loves it! the music is peaceful and beautifully infused with nature sounds. It’s easy to operate and put together, and the animals are just precious. You won’t go wrong with this mobile!
Baby can't sleep without it
My daughter loves this mobile. I bought it sight unseen based on the amazon reviews and we have been so happy that we chose this one. We’ve used it for the last 4 months and haven’t yet had to change the batteries. We were able to easily install it on our crib (DaVinci Kalani Convertible) and it cannot be removed by baby. The stuff animals each rotate and that keeps my daughter amused for a long time. She loves watching them. The music gets repetitive but at 9 months old she still loves it and it puts her right to sleep when we put it on. Also this mobile was priced lower than most I had searched for online and was a great deal. My friend concidentally bought the same one and she raves about hers also.
My son loves it
We bought this for my 2 months old baby boy… as soon as I turn it on he was all smiles!!! He just loves it!!! the music is great, and the motion is just like I wanted for him. This is a very good choice of mobile.

This mobile is great. It was super easy to attach to the crib, which converts to a toddler bed. I love the option of having the music on or off. I personally don’t think it’s too loud, but then again we don’t use the mobile to try to put our son to sleep…it’s more like a toy. He stays wide awake watching [and "talking to"] the animals going around. It’s really neat that as the toys go around, they also turn a little bit as gravity pulls them.
There is one small downside to this mobile. There’s an ostrich, a giraffe and a monkey…all great animals, however I think it would be better to have animals that make sounds for you to teach your baby. Giraffes don’t make noise. I searched YouTube to find the sound an ostrich makes. It’s a weird throaty noise that I feel very silly mimicking. I usually just end up only doing the monkey noise.
Overall this is a great product. I would definitely recommend it to a friend, and we’re looking at more Tiny Love toys for our son.
Can't be attached to mesh-sided portable cribs
Tiny Love Sweet Island Dreams Mobile is simply adorable, however it attaches between the slats of a regular crib and I had purchased it to use on a mesh-sided portable crib. The mobile is too heavy to fit on just the rail of the portable crib and it really needs to fit between wooden slats for stability. Other than that it’s great. ( It ended up being a gift for our guests to take home for their regular baby crib…. the baby loved it.)
Good for non-standard beds
I have a 4 week old and the mobile offers a few minutes to do a couple of things around the house. My two year old is loves it and is crazy about the remote control.
The main thing I was looking for was a mobile that would fit my crib. I have a crib that no other crib item seems to fit… it has about a 2.5 inch horizontal wood piece across the top of each side with the back(high) side being curved. This mobile fits on the back side with no problem and fits very securely.
Great Item but didnt do much for us
This product has been designed well except for the motor which is noisy and annoying especially if you are using the mobile in mute. I like the characters, the colors, the way they move and the music. Well for some reason, it never did anything for my little one. She just plainly ignores it hence the rating of 4 stars.
Great mobile for crib and tummy time
This mobile is SUPER EASY to install, move and use. It plays music and also moves on a “silent” mode. It’s also great for Tummy Time by the crib. We just turn it around and it gives baby something faraway to focus on.
