Great for coordination and thought
This product and Bill Dings have been a wonderful addition to me and my daughters skillful play time.
Great wooden toy for teaching object manipulation
I love the bright colors, the retro design of the robots, and the fact that they’re wood. My boys love balancing them and making all kinds of robot shapes. My only critique is that the paint isn’t very durable and if you play with them on a hard surface, the edges of the paint chip relatively quickly. Other than that, the toy is great!
Stacking Robots
I bought these stacking robots for my nephew’s baby shower so he could play with them he gets older (his room has a robot theme so I thought these would be perfect). When my brother and sister-in-law opened them my brother immediately began to stack them and make robot towers. Myself and a few other guests also played with the stacking robots, trying to one-up the last robot tower.
) They’re more fun than you think they could be when you first look at them. Although I haven’t seen them being played with by a child yet, the adults sure love them! Having two sets could make even more of a challenge!
Fun for years to come!
I bought two sets of this item for my nephew’s 2nd birthday. So far his favorite thing to do is knock the stacked robots over, but he will definitely learn to do more with these robots. Am planning on getting some for my daughter as well!!
Robot review
The robots are really neat, but the paint is already chipping. Another thing we were surprised about was that the back is just a solid color, no detail.
Keep Away from Mouthing Children!
These look beautiful right out of the box – vivid colors, nice detailing. However, after being knocked to the wood floor several times in 10 minutes, the paint is already chipping off! Because these are not a baby toy and are made in China, I will not let my older son play with these around his baby sister for fear of lead paint chips. I thought I was going to be able to add them to the regular toy cache but these will have to be “special-baby-sister-naptime” toys. Definitely a family toy! We might buy another set so we can really get some big creations going!
Quality Toy
This is the perfect toy for boys and girls of any age. I do not know who is having more fun with this, Mom, Dad, Brother, or Sister. Just when we thought that quality had flown out the window our family discovered these wooden stacking robots. Not only do we stack but we also line them up in different shapes to fall like dominoes. My son likes to stack them and knock them down. The down fall of this is that it chips the paint off. We knew that one box of nine was not enough, so we ordered four. Some may think that it cost too much for a box. We believe we got what we paid for, quality toy/tool that the family can share.
Fabulous retro toy!
I must say these robots are great! My 94 year old grandmother requested some to give as a gift. After receiving them, she herself opened them up because she ” had to give them a try!” She then requested two more sets. She enjoys playing with them and sharing them with her great-great grandchildren. The bold colors are enticing. They are sturdy, and reminiscent of toys from years ago! I am now considering buying some more for my preschool classroom. Bravo!
Great Toy!!
My son loves these!!He will build endless creations with them. They are very sturdy and they are educational as well. I would highly recommend these to all.
money well spent
I just received our stacking robots and we love them!! The creative possibilities are endless. It is so neat how they stack a variety of ways – with feet, shoulders, even upside down! I can see how combining multiple sets would be great, too. I will definitely remember this toy for birthday gifts. It seems a wide range of ages would enjoy them.
